when to check a mole for cancer?

My whole life I've spent a lot of time in the sun. At the beach, in my garden, working in construction. I'll wear sunscreen half the time, if it's really bright outside, but a lot of days I won't. Over the years I've gotten a lot of spots, freckles and moles. I'm worried now that some of them may be skin cancer or cancer of some kind. How can you tell if they're just normal moles, or if they are cancer? At what point should I see the doctor to have them checked?

sore tooth from filled cavity?

So two or three months ago I had a pretty deep cavity in my left, upper molar. The dentist thankfully had an open appointment later that day and filled it right away. During the procedure, it seemed like they were in a bit of a rush, and they didn't wait the full time to let the numbing to set in. When they were drilling, it hurt quite a bit when she would hit a nerve, but I didn't want to be there longer than I had to be so I just grit my teeth and went through it anyways. However, for the next couple of days it continued to hurt every time I bit down on it. And now, even two or three months later my upper molar still hurts every time I bite down on it. I'm not sure I trust the dentist to go in again though and cause further damage, but I'm afraid it could still have a cavity. Anyone experience this or have any advice? Should I see my dentist?

Mid Foot Pain Problems

On my daily walk yesterday with my dog Frank, I slipped on a small patch of ice. When I slipped I kind of turned my foot and ankle and fell on it. It feels like a sprained ankle, but it is in the middle of my foot. What should I do? Should I get an xray?
