Nail Falling Off
I shut a car door on my hand and my nail has turned completely purple and is very loose. What should I do to keep the nail attached, or should I let it fall off? It is disgusting.

This is called subungual hematoma and unless the bleeding is really small, your nail will fall off on its own after a few weeks. A new nail may not fully regrow for about 6 months. A remedy that could help is taking a hot needle and poking a little hole to let the blood out from under the nail but this should be done by a doctor to ensure you don't hurt yourself more.
