Best exercises/diets for heart health?

Todd Peterson

Last year, I had a very minor heart attack. After a hospital visit and a couple tests, the doctor that I should be fine but I should keep a watch on it. It wasn't serious enough for him to set out a plan for improving my heart health, and I do feel quite strong and healthy. The doctor said I need to manage my heart health very carefully from now on, so what can I do to reduce heart stress/improve heart strength (with exercises, diet, etc.)?

Are you exercising? Even just going on walks a few times a week might help. But if you can bring your pace up to a slow jog that would be even better. Also I’ve heard that red meat is really bad so try eating less of that and more fish. Fish is definitely good for your heart.
